Throughout 2020, as the Covid-19 pandemic has pushed much of higher education’s in-person work online, many of us have been wistfully recalling the once-mundane features of the lives we used to live.

This month we reported on the findings of a survey that found academics felt, among other things, lonely, overworked, and anxious about the future.
